Due to the increased demand for clothes by growing population, dye-based sectors have seen fast growth in recent decade. Among all dyes, methylene blue dye is most commonly used textiles, resulting effluent contamination. It carcinogenic, which raises stakes environment. The numerous sources of and their effective treatment procedures are addressed current review. Even among nanoparticles, photocatalytic materials, such as TiO2, ZnO, Fe3O4, shown greater potential degradation.
